The hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, providing us with great recommendations for things to see and do. The owners were particularly accommodating and made us feel right at home. We loved spending time in the hotel's beautiful gardens, the pool was a refreshing addition, and the terrace offered a peaceful spot to relax after a long day of exploring. The location of the hotel was also convenient, with it being very close to the market we wanted to visit and providing easy access to other attractions in the area. Additionally, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with the basic amenities we needed, including a separate toilet and shower room, which was a nice touch.
All was perfect, we couldn't ask for more.

The owners were super friendly and accommodating. Pool, gardens and terrace were very pretty and relaxing. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Accommodation is basic but clean. Beds are excellent. Rooms at the front of the hotel overlook the road, which is surprisingly busy, given the location. Use a garden-facing room at the rear in warm weather when you will need the window open. Pretty much everything. Evening meal was excellent and prices very reasonable. The garden is truly lovely.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We had a wonderful experience exploring the charming French countryside by car and stumbled upon a hidden gem of a hotel. the location was perfect for visiting a nearby market, just a short 30-minute drive. the warm and cozy room, along with a spotless bathroom, made us feel right at home. the restaurant was exceptional, serving traditional French cuisine that was a delight for our taste buds. the friendly and efficient service, along with the peaceful ambiance, made for a truly memorable stay.
It was disappointing to learn there were no complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities in the room.

We spent Christmas in a picturesque French village and the hotel was perfectly positioned near a lively street where we could join in with the locals' festive spirit. Our room was comfortable and clean, with excellent beds that made our stay so enjoyable. The old-fashioned French food in the restaurant was fantastic and good value for money, with an extensive wine list that catered to different tastes and budgets. We enjoyed traditional French breakfast served at our table, which included delicious pastries and bread.
The final exit door was locked after 11 pm, which we were not informed of at check-in. As pet owners, we had to wait until 7:30 am for our dog's business time, which was inconvenient and worried us that he might have an accident.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming French hotel nestled in a small village. The location was perfect, really close to the market we wanted to visit. The hotel itself oozed with old-fashioned charm and had a formal decor that added to the overall experience. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with the added bonus of having a separate toilet and shower room. I also loved the attention to detail in the hotel, like the interesting historical pictures of the village on the walls. Breakfast was a delight, with a variety of pastries and breads served at the table, accompanied by a breakfast trolley offering compote, yogurt, and cereals.
All in all, everything was just fine, no complaints.

The room was a bit outdated in terms of decor, but it was still clean and comfortable. the noise from outside was also a bit distracting at times, but overall it did not take away from our experience.
